..and my boss is one of those "it's no big deal" people. And "if there are surprises, then we aren't communicating"...but still. Two bosses, one me. Over breakfast. I think I'll order a Sam Adams. It may be my last meal anyway...

I always talk about ficticious job offers I have recieved whenever I am about to be observed. Makes administrators think, "Damn, Just Bring It! is one heck of a teacher! If we aren't careful, we could lose him!"
Also, when an administrator is in to observe ME, I tell the kids in advance that the principal will be coming in to watch THEM. It puts them on their BEST behavior

It went ok, it just ended up being a chat about how things were going and to reveal my new pay rate. A $1500 raise!
