That meets with the top execs and medical staff of the hospital regarding concerns of families from the child'/parents perpective.
I was nominated by one of Abby's docs and was accepted by the Board. I was selected because I do not walk in step with CHOP all of the time and am able to give criticisms. My honesty and mouth has made some waves in CHOP and now the people who need to hear it will.
It is interesting that I am now considered an "expert" as a parent of a special needs child.
