I'm way excited. He pointed out, rightfully so, that my desktop is a dog, so we hit newegg.com and ordered me new parts & tower. I'll have a completely new/different/exciting machine by Monday for super cheap (as opposed to a new puter from a store).
His hourly is pretty reasonable, and even though he was here 3 hours today, he only charged me for one. And, he will do all the work on the new machine for reasonable too.
I hate spending any money at this point, but I use my computer so much for school. It's pretty necessary, and this crashing every half hour is really starting to p me off. Green screens, purple screens... a girl can only take so much. And the network went down a couple weeks ago, I'm still angry over that one. 
But now I have my own local puter/IT dude! YAY!

Um no. Plus he's about my father's age, and I know his whole life story. Just a nice oldish man. I was 7 when he divorced his 3rd time. Yipesaroni! But does seem to know his stuff.
I did think about finding a young computer guru, but I think Monte is the better fit.

See? All my computer guys are too far away. I went local out of necessity. I hate it too.
Transfer to ISU. Then you can fix my puter, and I can cook you dinner. Brainstorming: it's what I do.
