Whenever Little Poky's daycare teacher calls, I recognize her voice
and for a split second all sorts of horrible things are running
through my mind.
She always identifies herself and says no emergency right away, but
there is still that split second of time.
I hate that feeling
Edited to say: I'm leaving now because little Poky has a fever.
Have nice weekend
Go Titans!

Yes I agree. Makes you feel sick. I got a " This is Pam from the YMCA....Nichole's had an accident." about a year ago. I thought my heart was going to stop beating. Turns out she just wet herself.

Is it anything like when you were a kid and one of your parents uses your middle name?

That is when I know Jen is really pissed when she calls me Gregory, or the kids: Kimberly Marie, or Michael Gregory.
