Posted: 07/18/05 - 05:32 Post subject: I had my first marathon nightmare of the year
We had guests last night, and one guest had just ran her first marathon, so naturally we got to hash that over. So I had my first marathon nightmare for the year.
This time, I'm in my house, in the bathroom, when I hear the roar of the crowd (the marathon is of course right outside my front door) and I know the race has started. No big deal, since it's chip timed, but it is very disheartening to see no runners at all. So I start sprinting, in mile 1 of a marathon to try and catch up!
The scene switches to me following the blue line. It leads down the stairs, to a basement, and you have to climb over the washing machine and up some outside steps. Then the blue line goes into a big dryer vent thing and I can't remember how to get through it.
That's all I remember.

sounds like a good course.
believe it or not, i have had a very similar dream...up stairs, thru crawlspaces, over appliances in old buildings...all on a marathon course.
