For the first time EVAH, I had grits. And they were tasty. Hubby treated them like an alien invasion and then decided they were alright.

I just cannot stand the smushiness qualities of them.

And they're bland, very bland.

If I could deal with cream-style corn when I was a kid, grits will be no problem.

What does one throw in/on for toppings? Butter? Sugar? Vodka?

Mix it with rock salt and use it for traction on icy roads.
