Good idea to have both Hep A and Hep B. Working in the health care field Hep B is pretty much required everywhere.
If you are due for a Tetanus-Diptheria booster, you should now get the Tetanus-Diptheria-Pertussis vaccine. Whooping cough (pertussis) is making a comeback. /end of psa.

Although hep A, B, and C can be transmitted sexually there are other ways to come in contact with the virus. I used to work in a medical lab and always wore gloves when working on med tech's computers or fixing a problem for them. It's very easy to pick up Hep B from contaminated surfaces without being aware of the exposure.
Hep A is often contracted through shell fish and other contaminated fish products. B and C quite often is picked up through sexual activity but not always.
Thus, if you have not been exposed to Hep A and B, get the shots regardless of where the "little general" goes or does not go. If someone has already had Hep A and/or B they don't need the shots.

i had the B series back in the early 90's, i don't even think it was FDA approved yet but OK'd for the military. no booster needed. the hep A i've never really worried about and Hep C not concerned on either.

The "Little General" is pleased you all are concerned about his health and safety.
And Yes, he would hope the "battlefield" he was engaged in would be just as particular and safe.
