So we all had out monthly meeting yesterday...things were going fine until my boss takes out our company's yearly Survey results.
(they do this every year...and they GUARANTEE that's it's 'anonymous')
So, he gets all red in the face...tells us how SHOCKED, DISMAYED, and HURT he was with the results.
Turn out he came in at a 0% rating in the following categories:
Accountability
Respect
Helpful
Adds Value
Trust
(pretty much got his ass handed to him in all 20 of the questions about his performance).
First off, we all felt like we just got 'jumped'...Since when do they whip these results back in your face?
So anyway, he 'opened things' up..."I need to know where I can improve...." but later saying "Hey, I'm old and set in my ways, I'm not going to change".
So I put on the boxing gloves, grabbed my wiffle bat O Death and beat him severely....For realz...it felt great.
Now normally I don't share such intimate moments but here he is, praying for his life (he's in the middle).

Well, we've had the number one market in the nation...so, in a nutshell, we've been carrying him. Now that this is out though, he is SO on the 'hotseat'...we're all hoping for a quick firing.
I won't get into what exactly I said, but I was brutally honest with him and probably said alot of things he wasn't expecting...(in the corporate world, being brutally honest to your boss is a coveted rarity)...
