Was on a biz trip until last night. Had five good runs along Lake Shore Drive in Chi-town. Yesterday's longish run was fab, but... I forgot to bring my BodyGlide to the big city. I hate my thighs. Man, I really do. I didn't have any problem at all while running but was in serious pain yesterday afternoon. Even in trousers it hurt to walk. sheesh

Sorry I missed this earlier! Hope you've healed up nicely. Body Glide is a runner's best friend, isn't it?

Next time you go on a trip and forget, a readily available backup, albeit not quite as good, is your plain old, everyday petroleum jelly. It's what I use in a pinch and it seems to do the trick on the mid distances.

follow-up cure--------Aquaphor....don't have some....get some. It's heals the swelling in hours and in one day scabbed over....by 3 days flaked off.
