Posted: 03/23/06 - 22:54 Post subject: I don't understand what's going on with my running
I've never felt like this before.
I crave to run almost all the time. In the middle of the day, morning, evening. I just cannot wait to run!
Then, I don't get winded, tired or anything. I increase my speed trying to tire myself out, but nothing. Ijust keep going....
I stop short of what I feel I can do because I am still ramping up mileage and I don't want to get hurt (trying to be smart here)... BUT THIS IS WEIRD!!
Has this ever happened to any of you?
I've never had this much energy before. EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly. There will be many peaks and valleys in your training as your fitness level improves. Take advantage of the days you feel strong, weather your way thru the days you don't feel strong.

yup - enjoy it - maybe it's time to step up to a real run like a 50 miler - that'll take the wind out of your sails for a few weeks!

nah 50 miler is a great distance - you can go really slow and still be beat at the end!
