I do a lot of stuff at the gym but I absolutely hate to do anything math or number related. I'm just not jiggy with it. But when I open or close I have to balance the cash box which I can do, usually. So yesterday the calculator I use had a dead battery and I had to use the one on the desk that is like a "real calculator" the accountant uses. You know, with paper tape to print, plugs in, lots o buttons and symbols type thing. I hate that f---ing thing! I don't get it, I just wanna subtract!!!!! But I hafta add to do it?? HUH???? Don't even try to explain, I'm a moron.
What task do you hate to do?

Internal utility billing here at work. It requires a fair amount of data input into several excel files and I am constantly reversing numbers. Anyone know if it's possible to be number dyslexic? I swear I am - I do it in my checkbook and anything else that requires numeric input. It makes me nuts and it makes our accounting dept. even more nuts....

OMG, I'd die doing that. No, seriously. My heart rate is faster just readin' about that than if I'd run an 8 min. mile.

I gave up on my checkbook. It hasn't been balanced in years.

yes, it's possible, very often kids will mix up 6 and 9, 1 and 7, etc.

Well I'm an old man that mixes them up. I can't even write a phone number down correctly half the time.

You want a challange. Try balancing my checkbook after Lucy gets hold of the Debit card. I neve get a receipt and she mixes it, sometimes it's a charge (which shows up a day or 2 later) and sometimes it's debit.
I never know how much I have in the account until I take the card and wait a week.

For future reference:
Call 911, not 191, or 119 for Police/Fire/EMS

I religously write everything in there. It doesn't do much good though if something is written in backwards.

I, too, am number dyslexic. My mind thinks one thing and my hand writes another.
There are no tasks which I really hate--except talking on the phone with certain nosey relatives.
