Holy crap! For one-way, it's as much as it was from OH to the Keys to Islamorada to St Augustine now!
Excluding gas!
Anyone have Ideas? I'm searching all I can. The cheapest I found was Penske, at $665 for four days..

I've never moved that way. We've always (always meaning the two times we needed a big truck) used a trucking line of some sort -- first Wheaton (sucked out loud; the move to Charlotte was a nightmare with them) and then with Mayflower (sucked out loud, broke a lamp without telling me, stole a freakin' screwdriver, and could not ge a sofa into a living room). Both times we spent about $3k (although the company paid the first time, and Kramer paid the second time).
I've been thinking about this and the possible move to Kansas next summer, and I really want to consider the Pods thing. That way Dad and I can take our time loading up, and make sure everything is just right. I just wonder how expensive those are.
Good luck! Moving, while exciting on the one hand, is teh suck on the other.

Well, I just looked on the website, and they do not service either zip code. Maybe in another year they will.

Well, I was wrong. They're about $400 each.

Counting the transportation from one zip to another? If so, that's a great deal!

It's per month, if you keep it longer. I did a quote for moving about 25 miles using the smallest container, 12'.
Long distance move (Tulsa to Dallas): $1188 for the largest container, 16'.
This is assuming you only need 1. I need a 24' truck to move my house ~1700sq. ft, so I 'd need two pods.

From Cincy to Charlotte was $3k.
We used a Uhaul on the way back.
IF I ever move again, Id gladly pay the $3k

One of Larry's restaurant managers got burned badly on the Pods. The company lost the pods for three weeks, so they borrowed a bed from us (well, we ended up giving it to them when they moved again, and not by our own volition) and they were stuck with having to buy clothing and stuff while they waited.
I am also looking into the service where we pack, they drive.
I have had bad experience with a "moving" company. A breaking company was more accurate, and I have some special china/glassware that has been in the family for a long time, along with irreplaceable antiquities that I have picked up on my travels. Along with my glass collection.
I'd rather do it myself rather than losing 1/4 of a Russell Wright 1960's china collection again.
So far, the best is $665 for Penske, and U-haul is matching. I am waiting to hear from the "we pack, you move" companies still.
The most ridiculous quote was from "Budget". $1,605 for a 16 foot truck. No way.
