I saw over 20 bands at SXSW this past weekend and Okkerville River ROCKED MY FACE OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There were only a couple acts that I REALLY wanted to see and didn't and she was one of them...  That girl has a voice!
But we did a heck of a job/got lucky as we got into ALOT of the shows w/out a wristband or badge!

I dint have no stinkin' badge neither.....but I went to Mother Egan's all afternoon Wed for free, Waterloo Ice House Thurs night, Waterloo Records Friday and Auditorium Shores Friday night......

I really wanted to go see Spoon, but I misjudged time and was sitting at Waterloo waiting for a songwriter showcase and they started late, so I missed the whole auditorium shores concert....it started way earlier than I remembered.....I also wanted to go see Roky Erickson at Threadgill's but they were charging $30 for a ticket.......

Tell me about Blackalicious, please. They're coming here in a couple of weeks and am tempted to see them despite the hike to get to the venue mid-week.
