 Posted: 09/05/05 - 13:41 Post subject: I bought Ian a cellphone today.
Lately, any calls I get from him are on a calling card and they are few and far between. I am always the one who calls. I'm guessing things may be a little tight for them so I said screw it. Why am I working two jobs if not for stuff like this?
I added him to my plan, bought him a phone (with insurance), and put the unlimited text message plan on both phones. Now he can call or text whenever he wants and since I get cell service inside the new office building, he can get me whenever/wherever.
It's worth it for my piece of mind that I am near if he just needs contact or to hear my voice.

And he will. Dave still calls here nearly every day - often several times.

Normally I would say SUCKA!!!!! But, this is obviously a good reason to buy him a phone. Good job, mom!
