In the interconnectedness of the universe and that there are some things that cannot be explained.
That humans will never be at peace.
I believe that the choices we make in our daily living can have a profound effect on the survival of the Earth and its resources.
I believe in evil.
I believe in love.
I believe that all music has a place and a value.
I believe that poetry can be found anywhere in anyone.
I believe in the power of a smile and the value of a tear.
I believe that it's okay not to know. And to say so.
I believe that the hardest part of parenting is not the holding, but the letting go.
I believe that when you stop learning you stop living.

-the best dinner is 2 heaping plates of nachos.
-in myself.
-stupidity will conquer everything.
-it already has.
-the best things in life are not free - but you can't buy them.
-I waste way too much time in my life.

I believe I should have gone to medical school instead of law school.
I believe that everyone has at least a shred of decency in them.
I believe that stupid people are procreating faster and more frequently than smart ones. 
I believe that a best friend shouldn't be taken for granted.

I believe you can see what love and trust is more by looking into the face of a dog than into the face of 99% of the people you will ever know. And that is a sad thing.
I believe that there are some times when looking out for yourself first can be a good thing, a necessary thing.
I believe I'm a lot smarter than you (generically) will give me credit for. But not as smart as I think I am.
I believe we will always be works in progress.
I believe the single best snippet of music ever is Martin Rotsey's guitar work before the last chorus of the Oils' Shipyards of New Zealand.
I believe I will always be underestimated.
I believe that besides being a God of love, grace, judgement and mercy, He also has a great sense of humor.
