To get better. I was doing very well with PT and starting last Friday afternoon my back started giving me a real hard time again, and I really got frustrated. I went to PT last night and apparently I was out of alignment again. I am getting very discouraged. PT recomended that I stay off the weights for week or so to give my body a chance to recover.
She says I am doing very well, but I need to relax and allow myself to heal fully. I am being too hard on myself.
Good advice, I think, now to try and figure out how to relax....

Do it!
A lot of us, if not all of us have gone through the same thing. I always end up extending the time it would normally take to recover because I get back out there and start pushing too early. Learn from my mistakes.
Would you rather have a) 6 weeks of normal revocery or b) 12 weeks of recovery because you got back out there too soon and pushed yourself too hard?
The choice is yours.

The choice is easy I am going to do the normal recovery. As tempting as it is I know its the right thing to do.
