Note to self. do not go near airport when president is in town. Too many nervous po po.
The kids like to go watch planes land and see all of the planes at the airport. I took them for a ride in the new truck and decided to take them down past the airport to see the planes.
I stopped and got some lunch for everyone. While near one of the back runways, JJ dropped his bag of fries. I pulled over to pick them up when the Airport PD with a USSS*agent on board stops next to me and asks me what I am doing. I told him, I am just picking up my sons french fries that he dropped. What are you doing here he asks. I said I am taking my kids around to watch airplanes. (Note I would have badged the guy but it was inside the truck, I was around the back picking up the french fries). The USSS agent and po po look at my car, see three kids in car seats with McDonalds bags and I guess figure out quickly that my story jives and I am not going to blow up AF1. I was allowed thankfully to pick up the rogue fries and be on my way.
Pretty funny. The USSS does only one thing and they do it extremely well. I guess they can rest easier now.

yip. And the only thing that got on the floor today were JJ's runaway fries.

We had the president speak at our high school once. We had USSS everywhere for a full week before. Even on the roof. The funny part was they ate school lunch. It was alwasy exciting for some reason to see what they would choose.

i used to skate in front of the White house all the time. we had to think our costumes over for the Halloween skate since we met there at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

When RM Nixon died, all the head honchos from lots of places came to town. Days before, there were lots of black cars and more than the usual police cars and men in suits with handy-dandy headsets walking around. It was REALLY weird. Freaked me out to go to the supermarket.
