Lest there be any doubt, it was erased today.

I finalized a case last month that I've been killing myself on since 1997 (yikes!) and got a monster bonus. I socked most of it away for the kids' college funds. But there was enough to play with, and it was time for a nicer car. I started to feel uncomfortable transporting clients in my aging Camry.

So I bought a car today that is undoubtedly and unequivocally yuppie. It has gadgets and gizmos (read DVD navigation system and unbelievable stereo system) and technology under the hood that I will never understand or fully appreciate. It's just plain loaded.

As I was driving away from the dealer, I felt satisfied and a bit like a dork at the same time. No buyers remorse though. It handles like a dream.

When you think of a yuppie car, what kind of car comes to mind? I'm hoping it isn't the one I bought and I'm not as big of a goof as I think I am. Neutral

I'm waiting for the list of yuppie cars from the masses. I'll tell you what I got after I hear a few. Maybe. Wink

Nope. I looked at 'em though.

I immediately thought them to be overpriced.
