I was looking for a hotel room for next week the other night and I was using Hotels.com and all the prices seemed kind of high. I was about to book it through them for a red roof inn when I figured what the heck let me see what kind of prices Red Roof is offering. I got to the site and the roof had better room for 11 dollars a night cheaper.

Sometimes less research or phone calling works better too! Dennis called the Hyatt or whatever in Cinti for our wine festival weekend, got a 5-dollar better rate than what the web site offered! (Of course, that is offset by the county bed tax, city bed tax, etc etc...)
