EKG: Normal
Cardiogram: Normal
Blood Work: Normal
Xray: Normal
Second Xray from last week normal.
Doctors have no clue what is wrong with me, they are suggesting a follow through with a Pulmonlogist (sp)
Gave me a breathing treatment, some steroids, and some pain medicine, and sent me home.
Hopefully what is wrong isn't named for me.
This is no fun. Any news would be good at this point.

Have they ruled out stress related chest pains?
So what was the funky thing they saw on the x ray the first time??
This is good news, sorta....but I understand the frustration, if you find something, you can fix it. Hope it isn't Cappyitis!
Any mention of costochondritis? Grizz had that a while back, bad chest pains, not serious or life threatening but it took a while to go away. It's basically an inflammation of the cartilage between the ribs but the pain often manifests itself as chest pain, particularly around the sternum (breastbone) which is where the ribs attach. One of the nuns at school had it and suffered tremendously til they figured out what it was.

Greg, this may sound silly, but have they ruled out gastro-intestinal? Ulcer, reflux, etc?

Glad to hear the reports came back normal, but sorry to hear that you're still having pain.

Make sure you get the anabolic kind. You're through having kids right?
Sorry that they don't have a definitive answer for you yet. Hang in there Cappy.

While I can understand your frustration Greg, I was glad to see all those normal results...hang in there.

Everything in my blood work was fine, they even checked it for clotting and that was fine.
The doctors told me that they are stumped. I am going to see my family doctor today, and we will make a plan.

While I'm thrilled beyond words that everything is normal, I share frustration that something unnamed is happening. It is comforting that you have a doc that believes you and is striving to give you the best medical care.
I'm still glad they didn't find anything...

I think my doctor just got out of high school, he looked very young. Another part of getting older I guess

Here is a good old fashioned lice check. About 5 years ago I had a lung partially collapse for no good reason at all. I went to the doctor and he diagnosed me with a bladder infection. Maybe get some second opinions.

With the way things are these days, a second opinion sounds like a great idea.
