[rant]
I haven't run in almost two weeks.
My knee feels great and Rehab has been going well, but I have been nervous to test the knee.
I am feeling very sluggish.

Do they tell you to go ahead? I sympathize with worrying about what that knee can take. Work into it. Have you gone for just walking a bit? Or running, but taking it easy?

OF COURSE YOUR FEELING SLUGGISH, you ran a creditable time in your marathon only last month.
I don't want to sound like a 'boring old know it all' but go back and re-read your reply to me after my crit. on your race.
Sure you can run two or more marathons a year; but not good one's.
Many years ago I think I ran nine in a year. So what!!!
TOO MANY PHOTOGRAPHS AND TOO FEW MEMORIES, they were very, very ordinary times.
Without knowing very much about you; and all I have to go on is your marathon splits. With rest, sensible training and race planing/race pacing, if you couldn't run a least a 3.10 then I'm a dutchman.
rest up and come back stronger than ever

Give the rehab some time, and try it out under a controlled setting. Once you feel comfortable in rehab, you should be able to get back to the roads again

Thanks for the replies. My therapist gave me the nod to try to run, but made me swear to stop if I feel any pain.
I am going to go for a leisurely 5-7 miler on the trails tomorrow morning...

I didn't get to run this morning (had a very Riffy-raffy christmas get together).
Tomorrow, hopefully in the snow!
