I rode to work and I hung my jersey up to dry in another room. i just went to see if it was dry. Yup, it is dry, but I made the mistake of putting my nose right into the fabric and taking a big whiff....

Oh yeah. I've only got one jersey right now and I usually wear it several times before washing it. It definitely doesn't smell nice and fresh.

We have a shower in the office so I am clean. the jersey however is lethal. Worst part is I have to put it back on to get home. I hope nobody decides to grab my wheel on the way home.

Why not shower with the jersey, then it won't be so bad for the ride home...

Can't you smell most people though? I sure don't expect other people to smell pleasant when I pass them running. And it's annoying when I'm overpowered by their cologne or perfume. I'll take B.O. any day. It's not like you can't pass them.

I sat in a courtroom today and smelled a whole bunch of people who are planning to bathe later.

I usually don't pass too many people going the same direction. Most runners I see are running away from me.

I guess I'm gonna have to start showering in the shirt. I guess I can hang it right in the shower since I am the only one that uses it.
Just the thought of having to put it back on is nauseating.

Maybe.. just maybe... it's YOUR smell driving them the other way.

The trick is to not put it on until right when you're getting on the bike. Then, hold your breath until you start moving.
