Posted: 06/02/05 - 07:05 Post subject: I MAY have an interview
So yesterday was a productive day in the land of "Job search". I went to a job fair and talked to one company I'm interested in and a job placement agency. The job placement agency wants me to come in on Monday for an interview.
And in the morning I sent my resume to a well known furniture company on a job I knew would be weekends and that's what I wanted to stay away from. I knew they would call me back, two hours later they called. I talked to the girl and she said it would be weekends. (Actually, perfect job for me but the weekend thing.) Then she said I would be a good fit for the Operations Manager position. However, that position isn't open. BUT, they have been having problems with the person in that position. So she is going to call me Monday to set up an interview with her and some other head honcho for said position that isn't available. Sounds promising!

Unfortunately not. But it would only be a 15min commute at the most. I could ride my bike to work!
