My DH laughs constantly over the fact that people have Japanese writing on their bodies. Half the time it doesn't say what they "think" it says!

That's what we laugh about, too. We figure that huge dude with the Chinese characters is just advertising MooShoo pork and Sweet and Sour although he thinks it's his name. 
No way would I do characters in a language I didn't speak.
