You can do it on a road as long as it's accurate.

treadmill???? really don't have a track or path, that I can guarantee no quick stop for inattentive drivers......trails are still inaccessible due to white stuff or large puddles.

I dunno.
Whadya think Mech?
Just my weak mind, but I've got probs with treadmill "racing" or "PRs". There's a pretty big difference between being able to push yourself to run your fastest and being able to speed up the treadmill and "hAnG oN". I really do believe it's a whole lot easier to only focus on not letting the treadmill spit you off versus actually moving your butt down the road. Do you think Sue? You must have a mile straightaway somewhere out there you could click off a time trial, no?

I think I agree with jrjo on this one. There's got to be somewhere you can time a mile, even if it's a quarter mile section of road and you have to turn around. But if you absolutely cannot get outside, I'd rather see you participate on a mill than not at all. Just be aware you might have an asterisk next to your name if you win.

we have a trail.....but it still has intersections . But I agree on the 'mill thing. I really don't expect to see a track until March. You guys are skeered of me I know
....but not so fast.....I'm going to be in SA March 26th so I can have my old coach time me for a fast one. I've done 5:46 repeats on the mill so I'm thinking sub 5:40 is doable on a track in a city that doesn't have wind effect
