If you want a historic city, I'd say Boston.
If you want to see a big city, New York.
Peaceful southern beach town, Charleston.
Gambling, Atlantic City. |
there's a school full of great men in Charleston too!

If you go to the Florida KEys, it's the start of off-season (means less crowds and cheaper prices and more peaceful beaches) but still not super hot.
It's great if you like snorkeling or diving or fishing.
If you come to where we are I can even get Larry to buy us dinner and margaritas or a Pierre's Punch! We live in Islamorada, the "Sportsfishing Capital of the World".
The other nice thing about that time of year is that the water has warmed up a bit more (but it would feel warm to you no doubt anyway).

I'm not going to make it to Atlanta, Orlando, or Texas.
the furthest I would go is Maryland if I am driving. SHEESH |
Dang,
You are barely crossing the Mason Dixon line!!! How are you going to learn about Southern Hospitality if you don't get down South?
