Gotta love the local weather guy.
He is talking about the next hurricane and he is giving his predictions on where it might go.
30% chance to the north of Jax
30% chance to the south of Jax
30 % that it will hit Jax
10% depends on other weather that hasn't cropped up yet.
Can you get any more non definitive than that!!!

It's not looking all that hot from where we are either. If it turns west, we're wiped out. This island is at most 1/4 mile wide. So much for living in paradise.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't "North of Jax", "South of Jax", and "hitting Jax" add up to 100%? I mean really... what are the other options?

Georgia and the Carolinas. The biggest problem is the thing is so far away. Any change inthe atmosphere can push it either north toward Boiler, directly inthe path in which it is, me, or south to Kristin.
I hope it does a Floyd and turns north. I just hope the South Carolina/North Carolina's don't get hammered again.

I thought that fell into the "North of Jax" option?

I guess your right.
The forcast track as of this AM has the eye of the storm 30-miles north of me. I can't believe this thing is gonna ruin my weekend ride. And probably everything else.

Ahh. It's only expected to be a Cat 4. You can still ride. Go North-west first, then ride east, then south to get home. If you do the timing right, the wind will be to your back the entire time! Wouldn't that be a wicked tail wind?

I am getting a bit more concerned. They're talking about closing down the restaurant and boarding it up in which case we're taking the dog and leaving. I don't like this.
