I had a great one!
It started out by rushing to the airport to meet up with crazyfrog before she hopped on her flight. It was fun meeting her for the first time and sitting with her at the bar for the hour. I wish it could have been longer, but I couldn't get out of work. There's always Atlanta, right Frog Girl? Then on Saturday, I did meet up with imgomer and aerobird (mr. imgomer) from CH in Tempe.
We decided to go to downtown Tempe off of Mill Avenue to hang out. We got our start at a nice brewry and had a great time. Ate and drank for a few hours. The beer was good. Then found an Irish Pub and moved our party there. It was a nice and cozy place to sit...drink...talk. We followed that evening up to eat Mexican and back to their place to sober up before I drove home. I have to say, the two were great and so nice! It was so much fun to be with them as well. It'd been a while since I had gone out like that. It was good for me to do.
Sunday...met them for a quick lunch before they left town. Did errands and cleaning.
All these plans came up on Thursday night. I went from a "nothing" weekend, to a "booked solid" weekend. A fun time for me. I don't like being alone here.
Now I have three new friends who are not as invisible to me. Yay!
I'm a little nervous about more pictures that may surface. This could be scary. I was "two sheets to the wind" in the ones with imgomer.

Your weekend sounds similiar to mine...started out quiet and turned out to be one of the most entertaining of the year!

Early Friday evening the girlie and I went to see a movie. She fell asleep on the way home and went straight to bed. I wasn't too far behind her.
Saturday morning we went to town for the procession, get my tire fixed, and buy uniforms. Across from the uniform store, an internet cafe was opening and they had games for kids and free cookies/water. The girlie thought she was in heaven. After that we went to have a nice lunch at Utica Square at a restaurant called The Wild Fork. Then the storms hit and we didn't have power until early Sunday.
Sunday was lazy. It rained all day and then we went to a concert at church.

My weekend couldn't have possibly more boring. It's as though each weekend sets the bar lower and lower. Soon, being dead will be more fun than being me.

yesterday we had family bday celebrations then i went to the mall to return some stuff i thought i needed for my trip. then i got sushi with matt and his friends.

Mine was pretty good.
Put the new cold air intake into the jeep
bought a new shotgun
Had dinner with my bro
realized I can't shoot the new shotgun to save my rear
good times

Friday night was nice, we celebrated Mrs. Boilers b-day on the beach. ran my race and then headed home to sleep.
Saturday: raced in the morning, washed some slip covers for the new couches at a laundromat, sent Mrs. Boiler out to spend her b-day money. Took a short nap, raced again, went out to dinner with the whole boiler clan then a quiet night at home with Mrs. BOiler and I arguing over football vs Little House on the Prairie.
Sunday: Skipped church since Mrs. BOiler was feeling sick. Did yard work for 2 hours plus other chores. Watched the kids while Mrs. Boiler rested in the bedroom. Stayed up to late watching TV.
