How many of his subordinates lined up to dunk or pie him, and did you get a chance

I didn't get the chance. That pie was sold for $60--too rich for my blood.
One young airman dunked him with the very first shot. Then dunked him a couple more times. Colin dunked him once, at least.

Next time, just bake your own pie!
If I paid $60 bucks for a pie, I definitely wouldn't share it with anyone else.

Looks like good times! I too would be eating a $60 pie, not wasting it!
Weekend good and scary. Have gotten a lot of homework done, about to start on more.
Scary because Jake, the 3yo, got a hold of children's chewable acetaminophen and since I didn't know how many were in the bottle (it was empty when I got to him only a couple minutes after he may or may not have ingested any), I had to make him throw up. It was awful, and very scary, and I never want to go through that again. I told the story to dad and of course he was surprised because I am such an ultra-careful mom. I had forgotten that I'd put things in this particular medicine cabinet when we moved in... I never get in there (it's the small bathroom that company uses) and just really dropped the ball on this one.
This was a good exercise though in that I've completely Jacob proofed (as much as I can, at any rate) and have all meds and household cleaners locked up. Definitely not the method I prefer in learning things though.
Good news is that my baby boy is ok.
A note to parents though. Poison control said that they would have advised giving him activated charcoal powder, not the syrup of ipecac (although this was ok and did the job). So if you don't have the charcoal, you should think about getting some. One never knows what the kids will get a hold of, and I've learned that childproof caps don't mean squat to my little guy.

glad your yonug'un is ok brie... i can only imagine how scary that was...
so far, not so bad here. did well my bichem test on fri, got up at the buttcrack of dawn (5am) on sat to do a shift at the zoo. went to a free yoga class in the afternoon and am now paying the real price by barely being able to move...
last night i laid around and watched trading spaces, today the schedule calls for cleaning my room, studying, cleaning out my car, more studying, and maybe a nap later on since im feeling kinda icky today in addition to the whole not being able to move thing.....

Going great so far!
Those shots with the pie are great Airehead. I wouldn't have wanted to be on the receiving end though.
Brie...sorry about your ordeal with Jake. You did the right thing and it's one more reason to make sure there's always ipecac in the medicine cabinet. I've never heard about the charcoal though. Glad to hear that he's ok.
Still have a four hour class to do at the church today. Will probably have to clean the house again and again after the kids. What's up with them? They are walking tornados. Can't wait for cooler weather so they can play out back!
Have a great rest of the weekend.

Training to teach RE (Religious Ed). I've had four weeks of classes this month alone! Get this...all on how to teach!
Uh...remember...I have a B.S. in Elementary Education. Can't I just skip them? Nope! So...four more hours it is on a Sunday afternoon.

Religious education <shudder>...you're a better woman than I am, for sure!
Weekend going well so far, got to do some more playing in the dirt Friday night and yesterday, getting in my fall plants, had a nice chat with my friend across the pond on Friday, had dinner with some of the PA Posse on Saturday and got some stuff done around the house. A nice combo of work and play.
Off to the garden store now for the last of the plants, went to brunch with my roomie (BURRRRP) so it'll definitely be a light dinner.
Edited to add: got lots of pretty flowers planted yesterday, just took pics so as soon as I get them back I'll post one.
I also finally scanned in the Madison ones but for some reason my computer won't let me upload to Yahoo.

Pretty boring and busy weekend. Lots of reading to catch up on and I got the genetics problem set, a quiz on Tuesday, and an essay on Confucianism to write up.

Mrs. H isn't doing well and the Dr. put her on a liquid diet for the weekend. I ended up dumping all my plans and spending the entire weekend with her. Watched a couple of movies and spent too much time browsing the forums.
