I’m interested in how you find trails around yourself. It’s pretty boring to run the same trail every day, and when you live in the city, your only choice is to drive out of the city and find natural environment. But that’s not so easy. I remember once running through a wood and all of a sudden I came across a bear. Luckily, it was on a safe distance, but now I don’t think it’s so safe to run around woods. Any ideas?

That must have been a really scary experience. The only animals I encountered were squirrels, hedgehogs and rabbits. It is difficult to find good trail tracks when you live in the city, but that’s why I stick to the ones I know are safe. Besides I’m a member of the local trail running club and we have several locations where we run. You should perhaps find a trial running club in your city and join it because it’s easier to find locations. I usually go to run with several other club members and it’s also much safer. When I’m too busy to go out of the town, I run in a nearby park which is pretty big
