I spent Friday night overcoming my phobias. I got on a rollercoaster--twice!
I was so scared I was shaking, but I did it!!
Amazing to me: my 12 y/o is not only tall enough to go on all of the adult coaster rides, but will go on them by himself. Had so much fun he convinced his dad to do this one:
| Quote: | | Vertical Velocity, or V2 for short, is a suspended spiraling impulse coaster that utilizes an advance design electromagnetic propulsion system to launch riders to speeds of up to 70 mph in less than four seconds. Thrill seekers rocket forward and backward, straight up and straight back down two 150-foot vertical sky towers. A spiraling corkscrew atop the first vertical tower gives you a wicked whirl just as you reach its already dizzying heights |

SWEET!!!! I wanna go......
Not bad. Friday was kinda as I haven't been feeling well lately and am very concerned that a relapse is on the horizon. But I did get a phone call from my dear friend Liam and plans are well underway for my Excellent Adventure in Ireland so that was Went to Friday night chat and had some fub with jrjo, boiler, gdawg, runaroundsue, timruns and trekay for a bit.
Today, I am still tired but I did go out shopping for a bit and spent a leetle too much money but got some nice new SMALLER clothes which was -ville in the dressing room. Got some new kitchen gadgets and finally got a canning pot so now I can make pickles and apple butter!!! No sign of my favorite weekend chat buddy but I wasn't around a whole lot today. Off to the grocery store now and then home to lift and do yoga. Gotta rack up those FF points!
GO FUBBIES!

Recovery weekend.. not doin' a dang thing. Supah rainy day, so I've been curled up with a book between bouts of wrestling the cabin fever outta my boys from having to stay inside.

Watched Boomerang nearly all day today while Dad cleaned up his bike and fixed the radiator on it.
Shot up to Heinen's for sushi dinner and now relaxing. Not looking forward to tomorrow... big family thing. Ugh.

On location in Calgary day 2 of 10
No zoo today next Saturday.
Some shopping and helping out with the Thanksgiving dinner.
Then later off to some nightclub.

Today - signed up for a race in a few weekends, bought some of the ugly shorts that have the gel pockets - can't wait to use them tomorrow!! Went to the zoo, saw the tiger cubs, and the Lion was up wandering around and gave us a good roar.
Went out to dinner with friends, and am now watching the N. Texas game. They're currently spoiling Idaho's homecoming, but it's close, that could easily change.

Your teenage son will not be disappointed. You, however, might be a different story.
