I was up to my preferred 30 mile weeks and starting to get back into long runs when I got speedwork happy after a fun summer race and knocked myself out with some posterior tibial tendon problems for two weeks

Sunday and Monday I did two trepidation-filled gimp runs, 3 miles of whatever and 1 mile walking cooldown. Feeling ok now but- anybody have a good idea for mileage progression for the next few weeks?

I have 2.5 months till the first 15 miler of the season. I did 15-16 mile races on ~35 miles a week with no problem last year..so I'm just trying to figure out how to pace myself but stay on track.

If your only problem is being slower than normal, I'd jump right back up to 30 MPW.

If you've still got some nagging pains, you have to do your best to determine how much you can handle without re-injuring yourself.
