It's only one day in but I'm hooked already. Inspired by watching some gymnastics and how physically impossible it looks I was idly adding up the number of events being competed for gold I've ever done in any sort of competitive sense, and thought I'd launch a sort of survey. Doesn't have to be a major organised event, just a bunch of like minded idiots taking part but with someone keeping score/checking the stopwatch and knowing if you won or not - even if it was just a one off and was never repeated! And as a second part, sports you've competed in that are not in the Olympics, or Olympic sports you've never done but would like to, or just done for fun and not been competitive.

 I've taken a plastic sled down a rough downhill trail in winter that I wouldn't allow my nephews to do...would that be the luge? I did have to dig my feet into the snow to slow me down.

I was able to, in my younger days, do a somersault on the balance beam and a decent round off. That was when the beam was still made of wood with sharp edges. I'm under the impression technology has advanced since then.
