apparently the mil has decided that we will host appetizers for smas dinner at our house so that side of the family (that all live near PH) can see our house for the first time.
some sort of birthday plans for matt

Christmas? My five year old has been going thru toy catalogs: "Daddy, I want this, and this, and this, and this, and this ... and this..."
Page after page. Same thing in any store with toys. It's kinda funny as he points it all out "...and one of those, and one of those..."

Oh man, I am not looking forward to this Christmas. I hate the commercialism, the lack of snow down here, the bitterness that I feel toward everyone that gets caught up in it. As of now, probably just going to the parents' house. Hopefully something will come along and save me from a wretched holiday season.
