The summer has been great. I need some heat to get the tomatoes and hot peppers ripening! I need salsa!!
Wow, I just checked the weather forecast. Highs in the 70's, lows in the 50's, it sounds like good running weather and no AC at night!!

They let the kids go outside in that weather? Aren't they all soaked when they come back in?

Nope. It's dry heat.
I actually asked the same question. They still go outside. The kids carry water bottles around everywhere and we have access to getting ice chips to put in cups for them throughout the day. The building is nice and cool. I love my classroom because it's kept on a nice temperature.
It beats my last classroom with no A/C and having to run fans until it cooled in late September.
Recess...3x/day.
