friggin' amazing benefits, I'll never find medical like I have here and lots of unbelievable perks, more the higher up you are of course I'm on the bottom floor but they are really really generous in the benefits area. Its just too bad I hate the job so much. Sad

22 days vacation per year
unlimited sick time
flexible work schedule (within reason)
summer hours (done by noon on fridays)
TIAA/CREF (like a 401k) 100% match of 4%
decent medical

and the number one reason to work at a college....young co-eds everywhere!

The good news is that the buck stops on my desk. Consequently, my benefits are pretty good. Wink

I picked the insurance plans and the retirement plan, and Mrs. gman hasn't complained, so I must be doing something right.

Although I technically fall under the PTO program, I don't really account to my HR person for time I take. I'd never use all the time I'm allotted, and if I cashed in all my time, I'd put myself out of business. Confused

I take vacation time when I get a chance to get it, which may be 2 weeks a year. Standard holidays.

The bad news is that the buck stops on my desk. If I hit lean times, the first employee not to get paid is me. Sad

Spring break
1/2 of Thanksgiving week off
Three weeks at Christmas off
3 or 4 day weekend every month
The pleasure of teenagers
Today...2 hot homemade cinnamon rolls made in Food Science from my now favorite student...
Health insurance paid
10 personal days a year
Fairly decent rates on life and disability insurance

Now..why doesn't everyone want to be a teacher???
