How far you can ride in 30 minutes?

I read the other day about riding speed. They mention average speed, the fastest speed and some other measures. I would like to know how far you can ride in 30 minutes. I would like to compare my results with others in order to know where I stand. Everyone wants to know his/her speed.

Well it depends on duration, terrain and many other factors. Various attempts to break the world one-hour record was present in the media for the last two or three years. We have been witnessing intense competition between big cycling names like Miguel Indurain, Tony Rominger, Obree and Boardman. All of them averaged over 50 km/h. The current record is over 55 km/h.
