Sometimes guilty, especially if I haven't run yet.

Totally. Always feel like I should be out there too.

I too feel guilty if I haven't run that day too. If I'm home and see a runner go by I run to the window and watch them till they are outta sight.

I most times wish I could be with them. Especially when I am on my way to work. |

Usually a pump of the fist or a thumbs-up to them.

I'm always sizing them up, so to speak. I try to gauge how fast they are going, how fast they could go, how far they could run, and if it came down to it, could I beat them in a race? On a friendly run where you sprint to the finish at the end, could I outkick them?
And I always wish that I was out running.

I get this way on skaters,
i envy them, i look to see if i know them, skating is a small community.
I critique form, look at what skates they are using. and on a nice pretty day wish i was them, even with all the flaws i picked out.
a bad day skating is always better than a good day at work
