I see people swimming front crawl. Although they all seem to swim the same way (after all they are using the same stroke) when you take a closer look you can see that they breathe differently. Some breathe more often than others. How Often Do You Breathe during front crawl?

It depends on your swimming style. You can swim front crawl as swimmers do at the Olympics and other official competitions. Then of course you can swim freestyle crawl which is not as rigid as the Olympic style and you can add some variations. Usually during the freestyle swimming one can breathe when rolled on each side. Some people even keep their head above the water all the time. Olympic style usually means breathing on one side then skip the next stroke and breathe again when on the other side.
