Most weeds grow slower than grass, so thus less mowing... that's a good thing in my book  Besides, if it wasn't for creeping charlie, I'd lose half my 'lawn'.

I'm too cheap to pay for it. I think the last quote I got was almost $40/mo. That's too much just to kill weeds. I did buy a couple bags of weed and feed this weekend. I just need to put it down now.

We have ours done as well
The lawn service we have does it as a part of our fee.
We used to do it ourselves in OH and SC.
I didn't mind doing it, but it was a lot of work to keep up.
I actually like to do yard work and stuff like that.
However, I would not battle the heat here and do it myself now.
