So, I've stuck with this vegetarian thing and I've noticed that my consumption of low-fat DAIRY products has gone through the roof.

I may get voted governor of Wisconsin if this keeps up. Shocked

I prefer the highfat magazines over the low fat diaries myself.

You aren't eating fat free cheese are you??? That stuff scares me. I'd rather do without than eat the fat free or even low fat kind.

I generally hate fat free cheese, but I love low fat cottage cheese. Low in fat, great source of protein and calcium, tasty delicious LOVE IT.

Since we've been doing SB, we eat a TON of string cheese, lowfat cottage cheese & sour cream, and 2% cheddar & mozarella cheeses. Good stuff!!! I have way more energy now that I've cut the refined sugar & white flour out of my diet.

But going vegan? No effin way, man!

How does it affect your running? Do you have less endurance?

I really don't think I could handle being vegan. I might be able to give up eggs, but giving up dairy would be difficult.

I couldn't give up eggs or milk. But then, I couldn't give up what you need to give up to do South Beach etc either.

Cottage cheese isn't really cheese though, is it? I like the stuff too, but I don't typically think of it as cheese.

Sure it is. It's just a soft cheese.
