Since I've been processing them (Catalogues and all sorts of Standard Mail) I can honestly tell you we send out about 10 - 15 TONS of "junk mail" PER DAY from my facility. Just to put it in perspective; one Cabela's Fall Catalog weights one pound. We processed three pallets of about 2,300 catalogs each.
I won't even get into how many different Victoria's Secret catalogs are in the mailstream at any given time... |
I was wondering with the prevalence of the internet, why so many companies are still sending catalogs. Some like Toys-R-Us are not mailing them anymore and if you want one, you have to stop by a store and pick it up.
