Was just given an extra ticket to the Canes vs Tampa Bay Lightning game tomorrow night. Club level (the luxury suites). I'll be attending with some of our IT folks (sadly, we were unable to procure another ticket for Ang).

wicked. i saw three in edmonton last season.. had a great time, lower bowl seats (front row vs the sens!), met players for autographs (met joe sakic!), and yeah. what an experience.
i'm happy to get to see it again.
does the building in carolina fill up much? i hear nothing but bad news about their attendance.... i guess it must be a bit better now with the canes doing well.

It's been fairly good this year, mainly due to the team playing well. My first games were during the Stanley Cup run we had a few years ago. Those games were awesome!

a playoff run would be amaaazing.
we got to edmonton the day after the trade deadline, so we had all the hype of a few new players - and they started their proverbial "15 game run to try and make the playoffs" getting a point in every single game...
i wish there was a team nearby... minneapolis/st-paul is about 8-10hrs. in the winter it's not a drive i'd like to make.

Okay, the game was a good one (Canes won!!). First win over Tampa this season.
Blue, my camera went dead! I did see Brind A'mour pre-game, though. He sort of chuckled when the camera screwed up. Staal and Cole had good games.
The best part about a Canes game is when we score, there a video of Ric Flair yelling "That's a Carolina Hurricanes goal! Woooooo!!!!" and then he does the walk.
We had a waitress bring our drinks and food to our seats and the club bar stayed open for a couple of hours post-game.
/dang camera.

glad you had a good time. too bad about the camera. rule 1: always check the batteries
club seats are nice - especially if you don't have to pay for the food.. otherwise it's kinda steep!
i'll post pics from habs/lightning... soooo stoked.
