I live in a rural area in Oklahoma and I currently have dialup service through AOL. Yes, I know AOL very well could be the spawn of satan. It probably is, but my options are limited here amongst the cows.
There is not cable in my neighborhood.
My options are Broadband AOL (god help me), Direcway (through my DirecTV satellite), and SBC Yahoo! DSL.
Please help me decide.

I'd probably go with the DSL? I hate AOL also, and I think the satellite is expensive and not so great of service. That's just what I've heard though... I don't have any experience with any of those.

I think with satellite that you still have to have a phone connection for the connection. Satellite = downloading (which is 95% of what you do) and the phone = uploading (which is the remaining 5%).
