Is it normal to plan one for in the middle of fall?

I just got the invitation to my 20 year reunion and it is going to be in the middle of October? WTF. I have 2 kids in school and I live 900 miles away.

How am I supposed to make that trip?

That is pretty goofy on the planning committee's part.

You know though, seems to me they did the same thing with Kramer's 10 year. I think Libby was 5 months old when we went to it, so that would've been October as well.

I thought I saw one email that came out about messing up peoples summer vacations. I don't remember. I just know that I voted for a July reunion. I was kind of looking forward to going back and seeing how many people I recognized. If I had relatives that lived close by that could watch the kids for the weekend I would think about flying up but that is not an option.

Oh well.

Seemed normal when I was (?) growing up - high school and college. Seemed to make sense, too - always in conjunction with homecoming.

Makes as much sense as any other time of the year.

I would never go 900 miles to see the asshats I went to school with.

Maybe that is homecoming weekend. I live so far away that it is hard for me to keep track.
