I do iron a large majority of my clothes, but only as I need them. lately, just as an experiment in breaking some OCD habits, I've tried skipping the ironing. The earth doesn't appear to have swung off its axis, or strayed from orbit, so I guess I don't have to iron every cotton shirt that I own.

but today, it was necessary to iron  more out of needing some comfort in a familiar ritual than actually getting the wrinkles out. and I guess it will insure that the earth stays its course today.

If you ironed your entire wardrobe, do you think you could manage to keep hurricane Ivan out at sea?
