There was a guy in high school with me named John Ziemer. He was given a full four-year athletic scholarship to play golf at UNT. Until he got there and they found out he'd never played a round of golf in his life.
What else would you like to know?

UNT used to be on the state system and was called North Texas State University. It went to UNT around 1990 or so.

Oh duh....I don't think I made that connection, Kattz.....I'm actually looking at Clinical, specifically their Health Psychology concentration. I've decided to appease my inner geek and go the research/academia route as opposed to becoming a therapist.

Are you coming to visit the campus? It's very nice, once you get onto it. I suppose it's true of all Colleges, but I find them very nice and helpful at UNT.

That's that famous Texan hospitality, I am sure! I love that area, if it wasn't so damn HOT I'd already be there. Not all us PA-ites think Texas sucks.
Not sure when I'd be coming down to look at it, I'm also looking local and am leaning toward a school here as well that seems to have everything I want without the associated costs of moving. If I do come though, I'll be sure to let you know! It'd be a great excuse to hook up and what better tour guide than a local? Brian would be happy too.....since I never made it to Dallas, I owe him one now

I have also heard that the University of North Texas is a great institution. The girl I'm dating right now lives in Denton (location of UNT) and both of her parents are retired from UNT. I don't personally know anything about the specific area you are interested in, but if I can be of any help getting you information, I'd be glad to help out. I'm also friends with a girl who is a secretary to one of the Deans at UNT who might be a helpful point of contact although I forget which department she works in.
