I don't get that much. I have been getting a lot of the Nigerian, or Country of choice money offers to my gmail account. I have been reporting them.
My hotmail account has pretty good filters but every once in awhile I get some

Not really. Delete and block sender. I've got much bigger fish to fry than the stuff that comes into the inbox.

We get those at work a lot lately. We need a better filter. On Friday, I officially became the last person to see Paris Hilton's boobies. I could have gone without it.

Make sure you "Work Offline" when you delete. Some spam is set up so when you delete while on line, you actually tell the sender you've received the Email. By going offline, the sender never knows if its a legitimate address.
I was doing the "block sender" thing but I noticed my e mails were proliferating. I stopped doing that. I am just deleting it. The mail seems to be lessening in amount.
