of any type?
I was in a bread eating contest in the 8th grade. 24 pieces of italian bread in the lunch period. I won
I was also in a beer drinking contest in college. It was co-ed, and you had to drink beer from a pitcher without spilling it. The rules were that both of you had to drink from the pitcher, but you didn't have to drink any particular amount. We made it to the finals. I drank maybe 3/4 of the pitcher and got us out to a huge lead.,...handed off to my partner (who we were randomly paired with) who proceeded to spill the one sip she was supposed to take. I downed the rest well before anyone else finished, but we lost on the technicality.
My then-GF (now Wife) was part of the winning team
So? What about you?

When I was young we had the old myth you could not drink 60 "shots" of beer in one hour (1 per minute). We proved them wrong.
AFTER college and while at the Army Engineer School, I learned about "Boat Races" from some graduates of West Point.
You start with two lines of beer drinkers facing each other. First person in each line drinks their glass of beer and places it upside down on their head. Second person drinks their glass and places it on their head, ad infinitum.
The winning team is the line that gets to the end drinker first. A person is disqualified if beer or liquid from the upturned glass drips off their head.
A Regatta is more than one Boat Race.

Substitute "weekends" with "time", and
I was actually in an organized drinking club.
Those 4 years are kind of fuzzy.

I did the Century Club also with a group of friends. Rented one of the Summer Slam videos ( I'm going way back so it might have been 2 or something) sat around the tele and did it. It was tough. Ended up very drunk and with a very sore shoulder the next day from imitating wrastling moves.

Multiple drinking contests in college. (My GPA reflects that.)

I seem to remember a pizza eating contest from when I was a kid, too. First one to eat a piece of pizza. And I was a pretty good soda slammer. If I'm remembering correctly, I was able to drink a can of soda in 7 seconds when I was in fourth grade. I was such a girly girl.
