Some would define arriving as owning a big house and fancy car. Others might define it as having $1,000,000 in the bank. Some may say that having a wife, 2.5 kids and a dog is it.

Have you arrived? What does arriving mean to you?

I have never considered arriving. I have always considered it a long, strange, journey that ends somewhat uncomfortably.

Realz. I have never really thought about what "arriving" is. I am the type that constantly reaches for different things.

dunno

Pretty close in most of those categories.

I have a wonderful wife of 29+ years and two kids who are doing well to include not doing illegal stuff.

House is definetly worth in the $ 250K range, Savings are a bit lower than that but Wife is an excellent budgeter. No debt to speak of except car payments and mortgage. Credit Card balance is ZERO !!!

Never really looked at it like that. I don't think I will ever 'arrive'

I ran out of gas. Now I'm in some backwoods town where "Uncle Johnny Boy" has the only restaurant, general store, and barber shop... all in one. We're currently awaiting the fuel truck, though it hasn't been seen since 1987.

I can't say that I have arrived and my ship never came in either.
And it can't be salvaged because the wreckage is strewn too far and wide.
Pieces fell off on the track to Wangaratta; bits were lost in New Guinea, the Orama Ballroom, the Coach and Horses Hotel, Wantirna, Currawong Park...... all littered with fragments. It broke up gradually I never noticed.

I ended up in a barbed wire canoe, lifeboat of the working class
